Updated 22 October 2026. This page describes Hunter Hydro’s private Content Autopilot publishing integration. It is not a general privacy policy for the Hunter Hydro online shop.
Purpose
Content Autopilot prepares reviewed links to Hunter Hydro’s own public articles for publication to Hunter Hydro’s connected business accounts. The Pinterest channel is configured for one article Pin per day at 9 am Australia/Sydney. Publishing remains disabled until the connection and a test publication are verified.
Information used
The Pinterest channel uses public article titles, descriptions, website links and article images. It stores the selected account and board identifiers, approved publication dates, publication identifiers and delivery status. It reads the connected account’s board information to select the correct destination and reads published Pins to verify delivery. It does not request access to other people’s private boards or Pins.
Authorisation and storage
Authorisation credentials are kept on Hunter Hydro’s WordPress server using the integration’s credential encryption. Credentials are used to communicate with the connected publishing service and are not included in public articles or Pins. Administrative publishing actions require an authorised WordPress administrator.
Information sent to Pinterest
Pinterest receives the approved Pin title and description, the public article link and image, and the account and board information required to publish and verify the Pin. Pinterest processes that information under its own privacy policy. The publishing channel does not use customer orders, payment details or customer contact lists.
Advertising
This article publishing channel does not create advertising campaigns or authorise advertising expenditure.
Control and retention
Hunter Hydro can pause the channel and remove unpublished scheduled items. Delivery identifiers and statuses are retained to prevent duplicate publication and support troubleshooting. Removing a local schedule does not remove a Pin already published to Pinterest.
Revoke access or request deletion
Access can be revoked through the connected applications settings in Pinterest. Hunter Hydro’s authorised administrator can remove stored connection information and local publishing records. Revoking authorisation prevents future authenticated publication; already public Pins must be managed separately on Pinterest.
