About the Google publisher
Hunter Hydro Content Autopilot is an administration tool operated by Hunter Hydro. Authorised Hunter Hydro website administrators use it to prepare, review, schedule and publish store updates to the Hunter Hydro Google Business Profile on Google Search and Maps.
This page describes the Google Business Profile publishing connection.
Privacy notice
Information accessed and used
With the account holder’s authorisation, the connection reads Google business account and location identifiers, the business name and website address, and Google post identifiers and publication status. It sends approved update text, Hunter Hydro links and selected image URLs to Google for publication.
Storage and access
- Google authorisation tokens and the application client secret are encrypted before storage in the Hunter Hydro WordPress database.
- Publishing drafts, schedules, Google post identifiers and operational status are retained on the Hunter Hydro website.
- Administrative setup credentials are held privately by Hunter Hydro. Publisher settings and actions require an authorised WordPress administrator.
Use of Google information
Information obtained through this connection is used to identify the store’s business location, operate its publishing queue and verify publication. Approved updates are sent to Google and become public when Google publishes them. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Account control
Revoking Google access
The account holder can revoke this application’s access through Google Account connections. Revocation prevents further authorised API access after Google processes it.
Removing stored information
A Hunter Hydro administrator can remove the connection credentials and publisher records from the website. Stored records remain until administratively removed; previously published Google updates are managed separately on the Business Profile. Website backups may contain earlier records.
Use of this administration tool
The publisher is intended for authorised Hunter Hydro administration. Administrators review the accuracy of updates, links and images before approval. Google services and published updates remain subject to Google’s applicable service policies. Authorisation can be withdrawn by the Google account holder.
